Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza is an actress and comedian born June 26th, 1984. She is the character April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation. After performing sketch and improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza launched her own web series with the Jeannie Tate Show. In the wake of her debut she went on to made appearances as a character in Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's vs. World. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington Delaware) is the daughter of Bernadette Plaza, who is an attorney by profession and David Plaza a financial consultant. Her father is Puerto Rican while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza received her education from an all-girls Catholic school in 2002, and the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University in 2006. While a student at Wilmington Drama League, Plaza was President of their Student Government. In 2004 while she was during her sophomore year of college Plaza had a stroke that caused her to suffer from expressive aphasia as well as a time of paralysis. She has recovered completely. Plaza began performing improv, sketch comedy, and a range of other forms at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater New York City in 2004. In addition, The Laugh Factory, The Improv and the Laugh Factory in N.Y.C. are just a few of the places she did stand-up comedy. Plaza was as a guest on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show in the character that of Robin Gibney and was also featured as Ben Schwartz, as well being a character on Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions. Troopers on CollegeHumor featured Plaza as the role of Princess, a satirical Sci-Fi persona. Plaza made her saxophone debut in the film Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. She first came to prominence in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings from the year 2012. In HarmonQuest in 2016, Plaza played Hawaiian Coffee, a Gnome. She played Aaron Burr and Cat Adams as well in Drunk History. the television series Criminal Minds. She made a triumphant return to the character was featured in the 12th season of Criminal Minds. The news was made a year after that Plaza will appear in an unscripted comedy called An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn.
